In olden days when man first leant how to capture voice it was wonderful. After that the world has been improvising in that system without turning back. There used to be a single channel of sound which was called mono system. This mono system then got into stereo system. In this stereo system the sound is divided into two channels which gives an extra effect. After the stereo system the development in sound systems brought a new system called 5.1 system. In this 5.1 system the sound is basically divided into five channels plus an extra single channel. The five channels throw the sounds in five different frequencies and the extra single channel throws the bass sound only. This extra single channel is also called the woofer. This system enables you to hear different sounds in different output units. And when you hear a jet roaring in this 5.1 system you actually feel like the jet moving right near you. The sound travels in all four output units. We have got to see more than 5.1 system as 6.1 has also arrived in the market.
