Kesar is in the United Kingdom, Sashi and Bandana are in Japan, Amit is in India and some of us are here in Kathmandu. We all used to be together hanging around together and as the days went by everybody got departed. One cool evening me and my friends were at Basantapur talking this and that and suddenly Nishresh asked, “Oye do you guys meet Keshar nowdays”, Sameer answered, “Yeah only yesterday evening he got a terrible ragging from us”. Unish raised a question again, “Eh. Where is Sashi nowadays?.” I replied “Oh I met her yesterday after a long time”. Again Amrit said, “Hey tattoo Amit has been out of touch, when did you guys meet him for the last time?”, everyone replied, “oh yes, we haven’t met him for a long time. He has been out of contact.” And these meetings were not for real but were a virtual meeting on the chat. We meet frequently on the net and do conference chat with all those good old buddies together. This is what the development in communication has brought. Though we are not together in the same place but we often meet each other and talk in the same manner that we used to do in our bygone days. It doesn’t even feel that they are far and when we talk we don’t even ask them about when they would come home. This is what can be called technology. Though it has been a very old technology but this is what remains adorable and trustworthy. New technologies come and go but this online chatting came and won’t go. It will remain there where it remains today.
