Just a couple of weeks back the value of dollar in the Nepali market was doing well. The price of dollar was somewhere around 72.00 NRS. which has now come down to just 64.10 NRS as on 21st. Septemper 2007. The price of dollar was marked at 65 plus just a couple of days back but the rise in the price of crude and gold in the international market has been the only factor for the fall in the price of dollar. The fall in the price in dollar has almost reached the value of Canadian Dollar here in Nepal. The Indian economy is also the factor for the fall of the value of dollar in Nepal. The Nepali economy heavily depends on Indian economy and thus the better the Indian currency does in the international so does the Nepali currency rises in comparison to the Dollar. Slowly but surely the dollar must do well in the future. Probably the Bush Administration is more focused on Iraq and Afghanistan rather than the domestic and international financial sectors.
