No brand besides Samsung and LG has made a strong brand image in the Nepali household appliance sector. These two brands have made a strong image of themselves and the competition is on, head to head. Both of these brands sell equally in the nepali market leaving all the other far behind. Other such brands which include IFB, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Hyundai and some Chinese brands have not been able to do what the LG and Samsung have been able to do. These two brands are established very well as Golcha Organization and Chaudhary Group look after Samsung and LG respectively in Nepal. The number of dealers in the market is also in a large number which deals with Samsung and LG.

Golcha Organization and Chaudhary Group not only does marketing of these two brands but they have set up an assembly plant as well. This when assembled locally, the price factor is reduced when the final product is available to be sold. Not just because of the international reputation of these brands, nepali house hold appliance sectors have been completely dominated but the policy of Golcha Organization and Chaudhary Group is also the main factor which has built such a strong brand image in the market. Comparing to the number of items they produce LG overruns Samsung. However if we go through office automations Samsung overcomes LG as there are no office automations in LG. All in all the number of products might be equivalent. Both of the products of LG and Samsung are good and the after sale service they provide is more or less the same.
