The price of gold is yet again soaring along with the price of crude. This has adversely affected in the price of dollar. A few days back the value of dollar in the local denomination was market at 62.30 which gained some momentum and reached 62.50. This is the record lowest since I have been an enthusiast over the price of dollar. At one time I remember the price of dollar in the local market was 75.00. Due to the strong economic growth in India and China has forced the US economy to decline sharply. People are rather interested in investing in gold rather than dollars here in Nepal. The fall of price of dollar has been as a boon to some people who are involved in payments to some Americans. At present the price of Australian dollar has almost reached the value of American Dollar. But for me the uprise in the value of Dollar is good so in the near future I expect it to rise and come back to where it was some times back.
