Banking sectors are the only flourishing sector in Nepali economy. There are so many banks being commenced each day with new schemes and attractive interest on savings. In this age of information technology all those banks boast of being online but I have not been able to figure out why do they say that when online in the true sense is nowhere to be found. The online system only lets the clients to view their balance and this is not what online is meant to be. In an online banking, the clients should have transaction access as well. But here the self proclaimed online banks do not have this facility. What if I wanted to transfer my money to other banks then this facility is not provided. This so cannot be called an online banking. But somehow we can hope that those banks will totally be an online bank in the days to come.
