Co-operative Intutitions

/

The number of co operative and finance institutions are amazingly mushrooming in the capital city Kathmandu. Every day in a newspaper in the business section we can see the launch of a new financial co-operative institute or the nth branch of some commercial banks. This shows that the monetary market in Nepal is very good. General public are more interested in saving than investing. With so many juicy offers that those co-operative institutes provide general public are seduced to have an account in one of them. Those small co-operative institutions provide and function all the facility and features like debit cards, any branch transactions, clear house and all the other features which a commercial bank performs. There are so many good examples of a financial institution formerly established as co-operative institutes and later on registering themselves as bank. There are numerous other examples of these co-operative institutions as well. They operate as saving and co-operative institutes and after collecting some big amount of cash they have fled away from the city. The lack of good legislations could be blamed for this. But as from now onwards the number of those running away financial institutes can come down because there is more profit in running the firms for a long time.
