The price of gold has soared up to the record highest in the local market. At the close of the day's transaction the price per ten gram of gold was at Rs 16,890 the opening price of which was at Rs 16,570. The continuous rise in the price of crude oil and the weakened price of dollar in the international market are responsible for the price of gold to hike up. Along with gold the price of silver has also gone up. The price of silver per ten grams closed at Rs. 324.00 which had the opening price of just Rs. 328.00 on Wednesday. The market closed on the auspicious occasion of dipawali and the transaction will start of Monday only.
