Banks in Nepal are running very well. The number of news of new branches being inaugurated by ministers in and around every crowded junctions prove that banks are the only flourishing commercial sector in Nepal. Everyday you got to hear a new branch of already established banks and new ATMs being installed in busy public places. The banks are running a race of having the maximum number of branches all over Nepal and Nabil Bank is the front runner in this race. I am not sure whether it's a healthy race or not regarding economy of the country. In this race the co-operative institutes are also not behind. Even the smallest and least popular co-operative organizations are also busy in starting a new branch.
