The lack of consumer law in
A young man/woman applies for a working visa in some Gulf countries and submits his/her document for the process. The foreign recruitment agency then holds its arm and sits back. Those who have submitted their documents would have to wait for years for their turn to come but to no avail. After some years those people who have been frustrated of waiting and waiting visits the employment agency to get their documents back but they won’t get their important documents back. Those important documents could include a citizenship certificate, academic certificates and most importantly the passport. There are so many stories of these kinds of hassles and are untold more precisely ignored by the government. Had there been strong law for a consumer law, those who are guilty could not have escaped and those who are suffering badly would not have suffered. As far as I see we need a strong and strict implementation of consumer law here in Nepal .
