One of the most flourishing business sectors is trekking. Only yesterday I came to know that each tourist is charged 900.00 dollars and above for a minimum of 15 days trek. Depending upon the number of persons in such trekking group, the tariff could come down. These 900.00 dollars don’t include the permit fee which is to be paid to the government.

The mountain expedition costs much higher than this normal trekking. It is justifiable that one has to risk their life in such mountain expeditions. The overhead cost is also very high in these mountain expeditions and a very qualified professional need to be hired by the agencies and pay them higher.

Apart from trekking and mountaineering, tourists are also attracted towards sight seeing and rafting. I have yet not idea of how much they are charged on these.

So a trekking agency is a very good sector to invest upon. However this cannot be taken as a piece of cake. The need of some qualified and experienced co-workers is keen and there are a lot of hassles as well. Getting things done in a government offices is very hard and there are a lot of officers to be bribed. But the earning is worth the hard works in this business.
