Tata motors of India has built the cheapest car till date. This cheapest car is modeled as Tara Nano, the price which has been marked at one hundred thousand rupees in Indian currency. This works out to somewhere around two hundred five thousand dollars and somewhere around one thousand two hundred seventy seven pounds. As claimed by the Tata motors company, this is the result of four years of extensive labor, survey and engineering. This is a five seater car with 33bhp, 624 cc engine and the mileage is twenty kilometers per liter which is quite economical. This car has also passed all the emission standards and is an eco-friendly vehicle.
The Tata Motors has announced to build 250,000 cars at its initial stages and expects to fulfill the forthcoming annual demand of one million cars. In a competition like today, the other big car manufacturers are already shaking because of the price that this Tata Nano. People from the middle class family would be privileged with this Tata Nano and they would rather buy a Tata Nano instead of a motorcycle.
The race is on now, and its just a matter of seeing the future on how good will this Tata Nano do economically as well as commercially.
