Rs. 600.00 And Above Per Share At Par

/

The much awaited Nepal Telecom's share is soon to be issued. There is a buzz regarding the profit it yields in the days to come. Everyone knows the one and only company in Nepal which is gaining profit since it's existence is Nepal Telecom. The issuance of share however brought a lot of misunderstanding and conflict in the mass.

Of the total share that is due to be issued 7,500,000 shares would be allocated for the internal staffs of the Nepal Telecom only. The cost of per share to those employees are marked at Rs. 90.00 whereas the par value of those shares to the general public as well as to those interested investors is above 600.00 per share. There is a very huge difference in the price of same share however the availability of the shares at 90.00 to the staffs is not that much of an issue but what matters to all is that the same share is going to cost more than six hundred to the general public.

Share should be issued in such a manner that there should be a gap in regards to poverty. When the shares would be issued how can a small investor who is seeking for some reliable security invest in Nepal Telecom's share. Everyone knows the Nepal Telecom's share will totally dominate the Nepal Stock Exchange and that is why everyone is interested in investing upon Nepal Telecom's share. But with this provision only the big investors who have a lot of money will be privileged with this share.

The government and the Nepal Stock Exchange should compulsorily reconsider this issue so as to boost the economy.
