How concerned are we when we talk about the government plans and policies regarding personal welfare? We just see the faults in them. When we talk about taxes and duties the concern gets even worse. Everyone seems to be interested in just finding the answer of the question what the government has provided?
Everything is managed through revenue collection of the general public’s income in the context of economy. At times people feel that they have been paying taxes and duties but what has the government provided. It is good to raise such questions but we cannot avoid the fact that there are a number of people who are cheating taxes and getting wealthier. Probably the ratio of those loyal tax payers and the cheaters may be fifty fifty.
In my personal view I don’t blame the government for anything. They are doing their best to maintain the economy. Cursing the government when I hear the fact that every Nepali is born with debt is worthless. We have a burden of debts and every nepali citizen owes some debt. It is fine with me. There are many people who just look at the government’s plans and policies and question against their capability but has anyone ever thought of donating some part of their income to the charity or something? If not, then they are not allowed to make negative remarks against the government.
