RSSYet again the gas station in the city are getting more and more crowded. The Nepal Oil Corporation had already stated that the stock of petrol would only last for a month and keeping the constituent assembly in mind, the Nepal Oil Corporation however supplied sufficient petrol in that duration. Now that the constituent assembly is up, the shortage of petrol is on the rise. This shows that Nepal Oil Corporation is not capable of trading oil.
With the scarce of petrol and diesel in the country, the price of all other goods will also rise. This kind of problem in Nepal Oil Corporation has been in existence for quite a long time. There had been issues regarding the privatization of Nepal Oil Corporation as well. But would privatizing the corporation would do enough for the supply of oil. The due amount to be paid to Indian Oil Corporation has reached to it's new height and perhaps one day, the Indian Oil Corporation would supply these petroleum products only when the previous dues. Before it's too late the problem of Nepal Oil Corporation finance should be sorted out.
