Display Scheme

/

Big consumable brands are found to be engaged in gaining more sales and achieving the targeted turnover. In this course, companies formulate different schemes and promotions in which the display scheme is the most prevalent in the local market. Many big names in the FMCG market go for this scheme and offer retailers, stores and departmental stores juicy full offers.

With this type of schemes, shopkeepers are the ones who are benefited the most. It is basically a scheme in which the company buys some space in a shop where customers can easily see the products. With this, a certain impression can be transplanted in customer’s mind. Building a brand image is the most important factor in sales and marketing and display scheme is the basic fundamental. It is a kind of a contract where a shopkeeper is paid certain amount of cash for having the contractor’s products displayed and for a certain period of time.

A good example of this display scheme’s advantage can be discussed as follows: there is a medical store somewhere in Lagankhel which used to sell Oral B products. The company recently launched a display package providing brush stands to shops. The shop in Lagankhel placed the brush stand on the counter and within twenty minutes or so, he sold five units of brush, the ironic of this incident is that, the shop already had some stock of Oral B brushes which were kept in a rack high above others and was quite unreachable. This proves that display scheme is the best tool to acquire high sales.
