Scooter Insurance

/

I just bought a bike last Monday but haven’t yet applied for the inurance. My friend who had recently bought a scooter has already got insurance. I feel vulnerable when I have a bike but no insurance. So acting wise, I consulted my friend who owns a scooter. Upon his recommendation, I came to know that, they also offer bike insurance in addition to scooter insurance and other four wheelers . It was a relief to me as I thought they would not have bike insurance policies.

In some places selling and buying of bikes and scooters without insurance is prohibited. In most of the places around the globe, third party insurance is a must while buying and selling vehicles and two wheelers. In some places, the rate of bike theft is very high and in those places bike insurance is a must. I have heard from people of losing their bikes from parking lots and even from garages too.

In western countries bikes are more expensive than ordinary four wheelers and having their bikes stolen could be very disappointing and a great loss. There are many bike insurance companies which cover thefts and this would help a biker or a bike owner to compensate against their loss. Talking about bike insurance, the third party insurance is also a must. A small premium paid as insurance is worth the big sum of money when you got to pay when your bike hits a pedestrian.

The bike I just bought doesn’t need a third party insurance because it’s mandatory to fulfill third party insurance before the bike is handed over to the buyer. If you don’t have insurance, you got to have one immediately and don’t forget the third party insurance.
