The top retailer giant in Nepal has broadened its service beyond the capital. Bhatbhateni Super store which started as a small store in Bhatbhateni is the only stores of such which has always upgraded itself in the market. The Bhatbhateni store changed into super store which avails everything from daily consumable goods to higher end products. After running the store successfully at Bhatbhateni, a branch was launched in Maharajgunj Chakrapath. And within a short span of time, branches at Koteshwor, Patan and Boudha were instigated. Now they have crossed the geographical boundary going beyond the capital to Pokhara.

Pokhara’s branch is the fifth branch and a sixth in overall leaving the central store. In Pokhara too they will be availing everything from grocery to machineries. Having a branch in one of the most important cities of Nepal would surely be fruitful. The owner Mr. Min Bahadur Gurung has made the Pokhara branch a bit peculiar compared to all those existing ones. He says that the Bhatbhateni at Pokhara is managing a separate section to promote local Pokhareli products. Those products would have a separate display and contain some one thousand two hundred items for sale. This display would solely promote only those products produced in Pokhara localy. This means a huge boost for the local producers. Another important facet of this superstore would be the pricing. All the available products will be sold at the same price that is tagged in the capital. Normally the price of items differs in the areas outside the valley and is comparatively dearer. This is thus a plus point and a relief to Pokharelis.  Another important thing about the inauguration of Pokhara branch is that they are offering ten percent discount on every purchase for the first seven days as a promotion package.
 

The expansion of Bhatbhateni super store is in no way coming to a halt after Pokhara. After the successful establishment of Bhatbhateni in Newroad in Pokhara on 14th of July 2012, there are rumours of yet another branch soon to be situated somewhere around Itahari or Dharan. Bhatbhateni Super Store has not just facilitated consumers only, but it has created a number of jobs as well. This is why it has a lot of contribution to the whole economy. It would not be wrong if Bhatbhateni Super Store is termed as Wall Mart of Nepal and is surely on the run to win hearts of Pokharelis.
