The most fascinating factor of this search engine is that, the search is done on all the computers even when those computers are turned off. This indicates that once you install the google desktop search tool in your computer all the data or files are then indexed and stored remotely on their servers. This is indeed very cool feature but as far as I am concerned this does lack privacy and security though its worth for a multi computer users as the google says the transmission of your data is done securely, and your indexed files are treated as personal information ie. not shared.
