RSSNepal Airline Corporation is under threat. Chinese Company AMICO has issued a press release warning NAC of suing a file. Nepal Airline Corporation had hired AMICO for the repair and maintenance of two Boeing 757 engines and later rejected AMICO for some reasons when AMICO were already half way through this agreement and maintenance procedures. As claimed by AMICO they have already bought some engines and they have already incurred overhead expenses. Now if Nepal Airline Corporation rejects the deal, AMICO has to face a loss of eleven million dollars. And if this rejection comes into effect, AMICO will be filing a case with compensation of some eleven million plus.
Nepal Airlines has always been in controversy. Sometimes it is about buying new jets, getting new aircrafts for rent, the due fuel bill and so on. I personally agree with AMICO and they should be allowed to continue their duty and should not cancel the agreement, what so ever or how so ever the agreement had been made.
